“I lost the magic of loving my business as an extension of me. The part where my business was an expression of who I am and expression of what I want to share with people got muddied.” – Kirsten Screen [00:06:22]
Earlier this year, I was on a trip that was supposed to be fun. It was supposed to be what I wanted. But I was miserable, and it wasn’t just about the trip.
I’ve been having revelations lately, about my life and my business and how I want to experience both… or maybe more specifically, how I don’t. I don’t want to just go through the motions. I don’t want to just make an income without feeling like I’m creating something valuable in the world. I don’t want to settle for the same thing every day.
So I’m making some big changes that are frankly, a little scary. But these changes are exactly what I need right now, and I’m going to walk you through all the reasons why in today’s episode.
Plus, I’m leaving you with a different question at the end of every episode this season! This episode, consider: How are you honoring the business that you’ve built and making sure you actually still love the work you’re doing in it? Send me a DM on Instagram and let me know!
Alright, let’s dive in!
What’s in this episode:
- [01:35] The trip that made me realize something was off in my business
